guy davis
Guy Davis, a monster illustrator of mass carnage and wreckage, the planet is truly doomed. Will will be taken over by so many scarey things and Guy Davis shows us them. Imagine if everything you looked at under a microscope was full size or even way bigger.... that's what Guy Davis illustrates. You can find him working his marvels in the Bureau.
mike mignola
I don't know where to start.... Mike Mignola has probably single handidly entertained me the most in the last ten year. Yes he has. If you haven't discovered Mike Mignola you are in for a really big treat. So many stories, so many great characters. He can be found at any local comic shop. Open the large volumes of a Mike Mignola book and you will find yourself transported to other places and best of all to HELL. You will see monsters of such fabulous illustration your eyes will make your ears hear yourself say holy shit. Then you will awake from your visual trance, probably hours later, by the voice of the comic shop owner saying "HEY BUDDY THIS ISN"T A LIBRARY ARE YOU GONNA BUY IT?".... and you will. Like i said in the beginning, i don't know where to start and i haven't even when it comes to Mignola.

tony millionaire
There is a sick side to comics. I started out reading Mad Magazine when i was a kid and still do from time to time. That magazine gives me a good laugh from time to time. As i have become older my mind sometimes needs stronger material and one of the artists of the truly twisted is Tony Millionaire.
He has a handful of bound volumes of comic strips that are just a prescription to a sore stomach. I wonder how some men can produce so much insane humor. If i could drink safely i would raise a huge mug of slew to Tony Millionaire! Unfortunately I drink like Drinky Crow, witch also makes me laugh. An alcoholic Crow, Uncle Gabbey and more!!!

paul pope
Paul Pope wow... i have been on many adventures illustrated by this man. Batman Year 100... just fantastic! Find this comic and make it your first Paul Pope experience. Then try 100% I can't remember the whole story but it's in the future and exotic dancers not only show you their.... I'm not going to spoil the story. Alot of his books are available at your Public Library. He has a few others of humungous visual explosion that are worth the hunt. His art is in my top ten for what that's worth.
david boswell
if you haven't read this David Boswell character.... you better find some. I have read a Reid Fleming comic and laughed for days. Just recently i found a copy under the staircase all ratted and torn i opened the comic at random and looked at the panel. Reid was being arrested and then proceeded to beat up the cops before he is handcuffed. I was at work the next day and thought about those panels and started laughing... i'm giggling right now.
I turned the corner at a huge comic con and there was David Boswell sitting there... as usual i became star-struck and didn't know what to say. I managed to swindle a small sketch of Reid and an autograph. But no fist-a-cuffs or broken ankle or nearly ripped off the left ear. Look for Reid Fleming the Worlds toughest milkman.

mark layback
mark layback is a guy i ride skateboards with, he has done some amazing art pieces then i cornered him and got him committed to a regular strip publication, it's all a laugh and i am proud to say i did write a handful of the strips. Mark has now taken the strip to levels of highness and we hope this strip continues into the future.
max clotfelter
ohhhhhh man. Max Clotfelter,,,, so much stuff, I am probably one of his biggest fans although i let my fan addict kit subscription expire years ago. I need to send money soon. this artist writes stories that are sickooooo. find him and buy his stuff he's the king of the comix! O.K.
simon roy
Simon Roy.... i met him and had some mindless banter. I have enjoyed his art in Prophet and now he has a new book out called The Field which i am very interested in following, the first issue just leaves you with tons of questions. It seems dark but the colorist did an awesome job. Glimpses of Richard Corben like art but truly Simon Roy. He also has another book called Jans Atomic Heart and other collections fairly good stories. hen i met him i got him to autograph a few things... and he Signed this book with an amazing ape sketch that says "To Ricky You Filthy Filthy Bastard" Just great.
connor willumsen
Some comics just really move me and this Punisher story illustrated by Connor Willumsen was incredible. Punisher Max #2
